Ford, where quality is job zero.

I've been buying all our new vehicles at the same out of town Chevy/GM dealer since 1982, 70 miles from home. Always dealt directly with the dealership owner. No trades, all cash. He knew I wanted the best price first and was no BS and did my homework. He treated me well on price and didn't try...

    Chevelle project update

You could unscrew the bottom of the panel and cut off a small piece of vinyl where it's hidden tucked behind the panel and glue over the opening. Just a thought.

    WTB GM Window Guide Roller

I later found AMD part W-022 at Summit that worked after a little grinding to shorten its effective length 1/8". It was listed for an early 70's F body but worked after some modification. Glass fits perfect now.

    WTB GM Window Guide Roller

A little like that but shaft extends out about one inch. The repro one I got only has about a half inch shaft which tilts the top of window out too much for adjustment to correct.

    "Corvette" branded SUVs and 4-doors?

Chevy has other model names they could hang on a sporty electric SUV, or come up with a new model name. Just leave the Corvette brand alone.

    Favorite beer?

Like Texas mule piss with the foam farted off?

    Favorite beer?

I like Yuengling but save it for "special occasions" and drink Bud Light as a fill in. I like some other domestic beers too but don't like the heavy, bitter specialty brews. Guiness is the worst stuff I've tasted.

    Chevellabration Weekend Now

Many of us attended ACES Chevellabration on this weekend every year starting in 1997. Sadly it ended in 2012. It was held in Goodlettsville, TN (suburb of Nashville) and hosted anywhere from approximately 200 to over 400 Chevelles for a 5 day car show/dragrace/autocross/party. It was a lot of...

    Anyone swap a 200-4R? Cooling lines…

With my 200 4R I still have the PG lines. Took some bending but works. I'm wondering if new ones are in order are TH350 lines a closer fit? Are TH400 lines further off?

Keep mice and rats out of your garage

I use a version of the 5 gal bucket with a spinning pipe on top and a ramp up t o it. A little peanut butter on the pipe brings the little bastards to their last dive. I use it in a crawl space with an occasional mouse problem.

    Credit Card Fraud

Mine is/was set up so it notified me when anything $.01 or more is charged. I had the card blocked from any further charges and will probably never use it again.
