    For bench seat fans

My first '67 Chevelle had the bench seat mainly because buckets were out of the question due to cost...not many options on the good ole L78 beast! But, my 2nd Chevelle with many options, including AM/FM radio has a bench seat which is why I bought the car! Even though it's a TH400 automatic, I...

    My Brother

John, so very sorry to hear this. Indeed we are reaching that age sadly....my wife just lost one of her cousins in Florida on Saturday, April 20th. He soldiered on with cancer for several years and lived life to the fullest! Blessings being sent your way from our family, John (in PA)

Hi and thanks for letting me join.

Welcome! Nice looking '69! I've always liked burnished brown metallic since my high school buddy had one...didn't think I'd like it until I saw that color in person!

    Dickey Betts

Yeah, it brings back memories of stomping through the palmettos, etc surveying and designing the development around an active eagle nest in the Oaks development. When laying sewer lines I remember getting in the trench to show a young guy how to walk the sewer and compact it correctly. Well...

    Dickey Betts

I did a little research and Dickey passed away at his home in Osprey, FL. He lived on Sarasota Bay. It appears he was born in Miami(?) and attended High School in Bradenton, so he didn’t go to my High School. But, he obviously travelled much of the same roads as me since I lived and worked so...

Rick, There used to be a small restaurant in Osprey that had the absolute best grouper in the world....it was right on Sarasota bay in the then rural Osprey area where boaters could dock & refuel. It was called “The Flying Bridge Restaurant”. I probably missed learning about where those...

Yup that is a great song! And Ronnie did credit the Allman Brothers in his love of their music. I will never forget while at work in civil engineering in my first job after college doing design & drafting work when I heard the horrible news of the plane crash in 1977. It’s a miracle anyone...

I agree with Kevin.....southern rock bands were the best at their peak. I don’t know too much about the Allman Brothers, however I’m a huge Lynyrd Skynyrd fan! RIP Dickey. Both great bands who did it their way!

1937 Packard Custom Headlights Part 2

I love Packards! Those were really well built cars in automotive history and nothing looked like a Packard!

Celebrating our 52nd Wedding Anniversary with my Bride today!

My older Sister got married when she was 18....my Dad's RULE!...not before 18! She turns 80 this July...sadly she lost her husband in 2015 (he was like the brother I never had). I do like redheads. My wife's natural hair color when we started dating was "auburn"...sort of a dark red...red...

Celebrating our 52nd Wedding Anniversary with my Bride today!

Ha! But, I did sort of rob the cradle! I was 22 years old (by 4 months) and Judy was 20 when we tied the knot! We'd dated a couple of years before getting married (after I returned from active duty in the U.S. Army or we'd have gotten married sooner).

    OJ Simpson

Apparently he had an accomplice. The reason for the attack was due to drugs! Check out America’s Untold Stories and YouTube. There was unknown blood evidence that was likely from the accomplice that they didn’t follow up on. A lot of lies and coverups during the trial. Overall a very sad tale!
