    What’d you work on today?

Today I wrapped up this interior. This is all I can show for right now. All I’ll say is this car has been the most difficult one I’ve ever had to deal with. There will be a more in depth explanation/write up at a later date.

    Advice needed

If you want the truth, because it's a rust bucket and a 67 El Camino. They will never pull the money the coupe counterparts do. That's a $4000 car at best IMO and I think that's a stretch. You will never recover what you have invested in it It needs 25-30K worth of rust repair, body and paint.

What’s your experience with trim polishing?

no, I just polished it and put it back on the grille. It has since been restored correctly and anodized.

What’s your experience with trim polishing?

I've dome some small parts on a buffing wheel. Then I tried to do a roof drip molding for a 71 I'm doing for a customer. It flew cross the room when I was just about finished. My Charger hs anodized aluminum for the grille moldings. When I restored the car the first time, I stripped the...

    What’d you work on today?

So we finally got this 67 Malibu painted last weekend. Ton of work in this but the results are well worth it. Color looks amazing. It’s a one off color we created by changing the original Emerald Turquoise formula.

    What’d you work on today?

This weeks work consisted of engine wiring on this Placer Gold 71 I’m doing for a client. 3 days invested and not finished yet. Wiring from scratch and trying to hide everything is ungodly time consuming. Relays behind the distributor, ignition box hidden behind headlight, coil hidden on...

    Sail Panels

The bubbling has been a problem with sail panels for years. They use cheap contact cement on them.

    Oil Filter Prices

I bought a case off Amazon for way cheaper per unit than buying them at NAPA. NAPA is a ripoff.

    Disney

I said it before and I'll say it again....Fuck Disney, I hope they go bankrupt. I would love nothing more than to see them wiped off Earth and out of existence.

Repro Dynacorn Fender Review Thumbs Up!!

It has more to do with aesthetics. The front 14" that comes off the rad support is a mirror of the LH side like where the washer bottle sits (unless they have fixed it since then) and doesn't have the ledge to snap the wire harness clip in for the lead to the alternator.

Repro Dynacorn Fender Review Thumbs Up!!

I've had fairly decent luck with the 70 Dynacorn fenders I've used. My only real complaint is the RH one doesn't have the same inner structure as the OEM does up front. I usually graft in the original so it looks right.
