    Cale's 55 Chevy

Cale has started a new after-school job at the local hotrod shop, L&L Street Rods. https://www.landlstreetrods.com/ In a few months, he'll probably be teaching me more than I am teaching him. :)

    My Daughter's Welding

She just needs better lighting so the bead doesn't wander off the joint... I have that problem too when I don't have it really well lit.

    Battery thread

Optima AGMs used to be good. The one in my Chevelle is 25-1/2 years old, and still going strong. New ones are shit.

    Trump Trial in NY

Jury will be 12 purple haired they/thems living on welfare and sucking dicks at the bus station for drugs. And the press will constantly regurgitate the term "jury of his peers"

    Larson SBC valve covers, $1,200

Banks have money... I really don't like to borrow, but if the machine can fund the payments and get the side business running sooner you can weigh the interest against the lost opportunity cost by waiting. I'd be borrowing what is needed to secure the deal at least. Interest will be minimal if...

    Fastrack

If it drives OK, you're fine. It helps with measuring Caster, which isn't a wear angle, so nothing to worry about other than pullinga bit to one side. If you can't get them equal, make sure the passenger side has more caster than drivers side.

    Fastrack

I did that for a few years before I got the turn plates. It worked OK, just couldn't accurately determine your steering angle quickly. The more caster you run, the more critical that accuracy gets.

I don't see that car going much higher.

    Fastrack

I use Fastrack, works great! Don't bother with their toe adapters though. Turn plates help a lot as well, so you can turn the 15deg angles accurately.

Band shell in our city park. Someone torched it.

I'm surprised there was anything to burn, I always thought those were pretty much built out of concrete and block.

    What’d you buy?

Pictures outside. Car isn't running yet, tunnel ram just set in place for Pictures.

    What’d you buy?

Lousy pics until the weekend, but I bought a bunch of parts for the '68, including some new aluminum slots. I got tired of looking for a matched set of vintage ones that were the right sizes and not uni-lug. U.S. Mags, 15x5 and 15x8 with 6.40-15 front and L60-15 bias ply tires.
