    1968 Chevelle shifter?

You're not going about this thoughtfully. You've just linked a "muncie" replacement shifter that we've already discussed, and it's garbage. You say you've got a cruiser......well, the shifter is one of the functions that link you to the car, it's function, and your appreciation of it's...

    What’d you work on today?

Looks great. I learned real quick, the answer to ripping the door trim off was just to add plints. They look great and solve some of life's problems.

    The trans swap options thread.

Kerosene works really well for alum. and a wire wheel on your impact. Kinda gets into the pours.

    What’d you work on today?

Being german 4th gen down, we were brought up with tators just about every meal, and had at least 100 ft of plants. Maybe 4 big burlap bags full to last the year. Towards the end, they were littered with sprouts, but still edible. That's what gauged when dinner was an hour away, when the tators...

    Enjoy the humor.

I'd give him/her the benefit of the doubt, considering it was just to cop the rear wheels, but they tossed them in the back, so there goes that theory. ... or maybe they are just really really stupid.

    What’d you work on today?

Yeah, staples are a beeotch to remove, I'd just pound them in or over if your flooring has the foam backer. Run a spatula around to guarantee you've got them all.

    What’d you work on today?

You've likely got it much easier than I had.....I put the same flooring over a monolithic slab that was prepped for carpet. It was literally an inch off in 8 ft. I had flowed out 20 or so gallons of cement based leveler, than latex on the edges to give me a very crude tolerant plane. The...

    Estate sale 1970 Chevelle LS6!

....and that hood, if it's a gm nos hood, is a bit of gold, probably a $4000 piece. The original was ripped out of the fender cage nuts, appearing to not damaging the rest of the fender, but again an inspection would be necessary.

    Estate sale 1970 Chevelle LS6!

Looks like a legit car. Distant auction without inspection.....not for me. It also looks like a pedigree car that's had a repaint, but is uber solid, low miles and has some great features......judging only by pics, the L code, and the build sheet. Didn't see the vin...or just missed it. Need...

Anyone they PDR? (Paint dent removal)

There are plenty of failed pdr guys. There's 2 that I've met that hopscotched around the dealers and body shops. The old rate 15 years back was $50 per ding minimum and they wouldn't show up for a call less than 4, and that was if they were slow. When they showed up they were the highest paid...

Anyone they PDR? (Paint dent removal)

Only if you're in for a long commitment. Before investing, watch and study whatever you can. I've used a PDR guy twice, with good success, but they do have limits. The tech works the best on today's thin gauge, oem paint cars and polymers, like those bumper covers you see with football size...
