    American Graffiti

Back when I built my 2lane clone, I became a 55 junkie, and often used weekend nights with a good friend watching the vhs and pausing so many times, watching time doubled! I bought that car for $1000 as a rust free roller and it had a screwed on vin tag from a 210 post, but the trim tag spelled...

    American Graffiti

From what I remember, 3 cars were built by Ruth for 2lane, 2 454 crates, and the L88 as Derek mentioned, and the interior shot camera car was the only one not used in AG. It's engine was sold, and the car went from owner to owner until Walt Bailey got it and restored it to it's 2lane form with...

    What’d you work on today?

Cur!ous me, after a few weeks not f'ning with the furnace, a little voice says "try it one more time"......so I did. Might say in the back of my mind that little fuse box issue may have played havoc with the board and not knowing enough about that sort of voodoo, I just listened to my inner...

Francis Scott Key Bridge, I-695 Baltimore

If it's anything like Oregon, they've removed most of the RR spurs in favor of light rail people transporters. That and the homeless are thick and moving them in favor of the supply chain would become headline news and deemed "targetted" to under-funded communities of..........wait for...

    American Graffiti

The 55 rollover is a huge tell, that's actually a hardtop car they pulled from a wrecking yard. They put plywood inserts in the quarter windows painted to mimick the b-pillar. Yes, the auto trans is there also. Painted silver wheels vs. chrome reverse. I believe there were even whitewall tires...

    "Layla"

He mellowed far too soon. Tough things within his life lead to that and we had plenty of talent to take his place.

    What’d you work on today?

Buttoned up the panel today........so glad I did this! Believe I dodged a bullet, the good Lord seems to steer me in directions that I later see why, but yeah, it's always with a fight. The little bitty box that I was stuffing wafers in to the limit was toast. For 25 years I've been using the...

    What’d you work on today?

Got the new fuse box roughed in and the new circuit wired. Piece of cake they said, take you 2 hours they said.........well after 5 hours and 3 trips to the hardware store, here it is. I ran everything in conduit when I built this shop, beings it had no insulation or rock. I added all that...

    What’d you work on today?

Yep, that's pre-filter media and adds next to 0 restriction. It needs to be changed often but it can be blown clean. They also make a roller dispenser with that stuff so you can just give it a twist every week or so. Kinda like the Way-Outs.
