    Charging issue

Can't get this one solved........67 elky had new AutoZone 715, AC Delco alternator and it won't charge. Lots of little stuff I've addressed, loose connection on the VR-715, solved, iffy body ground, solved, replaced alternator, swapped VR with a known good one. I get 12.25 volts at the...

    Pucker factor extreme!

His comment on favoring a 300cc two stroke over the 501 Husky is spot on. These big, top heavy bikes are merciless and cracking the throttle can shoot you straight with little control, EXACTLY what you don't want to happen on this death trail. Enjoy......

    A rare '69

This is one of those with 2 tone paint, the upper color painted in place of a vinyl top. The fact it's a 300 post sedan with the SS396 option is rare enough, but so few of these have retained their documentation and this one has every bit of it. I personally don't care for 2 tone or vinyl top...

    Vintage Kart

How cool would this be for the grandkids??? The Rupp and Moss karts of the early '60s have got to be the baddest, or at least the coolest mini rail-jobs and building one today is a costly venture. I had a Moss as a kid and found one at a swap meet 20 years back and drug it home. Never restored...

    69 L89 Elky

I've seen this car plastered over every forum and read quite a bit of commentary and reviewed the BaT ad several times. What I can't get beyond is it's a Fremont car, yet has a vin. stamp above the oil filter and the head mating surface has been decked. Viewing the stamp, it's digits are of...

    Question for Molly.....welding

I've got this hub that's been ground down on the end, for what reason I don't know. It'll work fine as is, but I want to add weld and grind to it's original shape. So, it's cast, it's got a thin parting line so it's not forged. I have 316T wire that I've used before for cast and it seems to work...

    Another overpriced Chevelle

I really like this car, but probably worth 60% of what's being asked. Huge green fan, when done right, and this one surely is. https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/ctd/d/gladstone-1971-chevrolet-chevelle/7720353607.html

    High priced malibu '69.

Granted this is a pretty cool ride, love a sb stroker that's been well sorted out, and this one looks to be. Still priced probably double what it's worth on the market, and judging only by what I see, probably worth $25k at best...

Chevy lovers with limited self control avoid entry

ohhooo!!! check out this dream ad. Going down there tomorrow am, mostly interested in the couple '67 camaros, but looks like there's many more very inticing deals. Just talked to the owner's son, he's selling all this stuff, and says he's asking prices are all set to sell. Glad I have tomorrow...

    Manx buggy for crazy money.

This has got to be the most plagiarized ride of all time. Every glass shop in every town USA was copying the manx buggy, some to the point of perfection that landed in court time after time. Almost bought one for $1200 in the early 90s, but really didn't fit in it very well so opted out. It's...

Your Daily vintage ad Bashing Thread.....

Here's the typical can't wait to get it off the rented trailer to make my few thousand 0 effort flip....."only 2 or 3 tiny pin holes, THAT's IT!"......probably didn't even crawl underneath, probably doesn't run, probably bought it for $4k. Now, I'm guilty of flipping cars in the past, but did a...

    Scam I am......

Seems not too long ago I was offered a '68 in similar shape for $3k, probably around 20 years back. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/715671533874064/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Ad5bc22a8-0482-4e7b-b7dc-60bc845bbd9e

    ........another awesome picture

I remember well, the local PIR events that sent shockwaves throughout neighborhoods, this happened in every town USA, not just mine. This picture says it all, and what struck me most is the freebee seating that we all enjoyed instead of paying for admission. Every wednesday, friday and saturday...

    '75 Laguna

Another value priced car with a lot of potential. '75 is the last year eligable for collector status, so this is normally where I end my search. 12k doesn't buy much anymore. These '73-77 colanades sure are great cruisers...

    '72 on BAT

Jon may be tempted here......Posted all over on every forum I visited this morning and for good reason. These colors, top and options would have been my 2nd car in '84 or so. This example is stunning imo, and revives the sheer beauty of what chevy had to offer in the early 70s. What a nice ride~...
