1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS LS6 454 – Freak of Nature

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much BS and commentary!!!
This is obviously one of those people who is enamored with his voice and speaking.
By the first 1/4 of the video, I was sick of it.

When I went on the hunt for a Chevelle to restomod or build to my liking I was looking for a 70 Malibu and Holy Smokes for a Skeleton they were a small fortune, Kathy said "I use to have a 68 that I had to put a qt of oil in everyday lol" I decided a 68-69 would be what we'd look for, found our 68 Malibu 10+ yrs ago...shoulda just saved the $$$ up and bought a well done SS LOL but she's a labor of love

When I bought the 70 Malibu conv in 98, it was a very nice car. BUT, it still had its original ---------------VERY TIRED---------------307. I drove it from the Dayton, OH area to Okla City area. Took 8qts of oil to get it here, but it never missed a beat!!!
Since 98, I've done a LOT of work to it, just a few things, I built a healthy SB400, replaced the Saginaw 4sp with a Muncie, replaced the 3.08 10bolt with a 12bolt posi, TOTAL repaint, added a CI hood system, pulled the air cond system and shipped it to Classic Auto Air and various other Chevelle option items.
The car is now a super straight, clean driver. Goes anywhere in any weather and looks good.
My point. You can do is all yourself, or buy one that is done. Basically you will pay the same price-----------------------BUT THE PERSONAL SATISFACTION ONLY COMES WITH DOING IT YOURSELF!!!!!! Your choice.

The day I bought it (1998) and today.

Yes doing it yourself has many rewards, you know For Sure what's been done and how it was done, what grade bolts used in places, what still needs to be corrected but can't be seen unless you crawl under the car twist your neck in a 180* then tilt to the left you can see it LOL, ours is getting close, lots of people look at it and only see it's missing the rear window molding but there's more
