Bob Uecker passes away

One of the most beloved people in baseball. I had family in Milwaukee, so I attended several games watching the Milwaukee Braves as a child, and the Braves became "My Team"...even when they went to Atlanta! Hank Aaron and Eddie Matthews were two of my favorites, as were so many others on those Milwaukee Brave teams in the late 50's. I still have an autographed baseball by one of the World Series teams, but the signatures have worn off/faded. Bob was such a funny man too. I read another obituary highlighting some of his funniest stories & expressions, and I laughed so hard it brought tears! God Bless him, he will be missed by millions of fans! RIP!

Funny guy. My early years were spent in south east Wisconsin and had family in Milwaukee so I’ve had a place in my heart for the Brewers and Packers.

Hadn’t heard of him in a long time. Hope he had a good retirement. Haven’t seen the movie in many years but remember his cameo in Major League.

Norm Macdonald was talking about Uecker and said he was surprised how much he used the F word.
He kept a squeaky clean image in front of fans, but guys who knew him said he was hilarious in real life.
