I can't imagine going through life being a mushroom (being in the dark and being fed shit).
My biggest issue with OCS was the long time members like - I won’t mention his name except it starts with an L and rhymes with tightfoot - who hated the fact that OCS was large and popular and resented people like me and Bradford who wanted to have fun on the site in ways they didn’t approve of. They wanted the site to be like it was when it was called cars and coffee or whatever.
I signed onto one of the new sites they started but left shortly because no one there could take a joke.
Sometimes Dean was cool, a lot of the time he was a dick, but I get it, as a moderator it comes with the territory. Brad and I messed with him a lot and eventually he started to play along and we all had a few laughs together.

I had a similar experience in the road bike political forum. They eventually banned or chased away all the libertarian or conservative members and now it’s just a libtard echo chamber. The mod banned me about 3 years ago after I called him out for not enforcing the rule regarding name calling and personal attacks when they were directed at certain individual posterS. He then slandered me in the forum saying I “went after” the site admin.
It’s a shame, that was quite a fun place. They were a group that thought very highly about themselves and their supposed intelligence but were not as smart as they thought. I really enjoyed making them look stupid but eventually I made the moderator look stupid one too many times apparently

Dean must have really missed us because he had an incognito membership here.
I got banned from a FB Chevelle group for sharing an article about some government effort that would have affected everyone. Might have been the EPA thing about race cars.
I also got suspended from a FB arch top forum for posting a picture my son took of me playing one of my archtops.
Some people just love their ban hammers. In those instances where I can I delete all my posts and block the group. Don’t want my participation then fuck off.

Get this : I got banned from a 66-67 Chevelle group on Facebook because the mod said anyone who paid more for a "138" car vs a "136" was stupid.
I simply explained that a true factory SS car would always be worth more to 90% of people - a true statement.
He banned me. LOL What a jerk some of these guys are.
