400 block AFR heads

If the block you're getting is standard bore, these flat top pistons I've got will work fantastically. 😜

I'd think most would require a bore. I wouldn't put the one I have together without boring & decking.

A 400 short block with crank, rods and pistons, std bore is very hard to find. I think you'll be kicking yourself later :)

That $900 deal is worth looking into if you're into buildinng SBC's, Id really like to build a 565 if I were to go down the engine building rabbit hole again,,,or maybe a carb'd LS

The difference is I don't "have to have it", it's something I'd like to have and build. Big difference. I'm also very frugal and don't like to piss money away, I like a good deal (my perception).

I buy what's nessasary and spend money wisely buying quality, but when it comes to hobbies, I'm frugal and need to justify the expenditure.
