3M Face shield

I bought the PPE face mask with filtered clean air for painting and don't really care for the way it covers my face and requires it to be tightened (so it doesn't drop when moving around), so I'm considering buying this 3M unit for painting.

Pricey, but when you're in the booth for awhile painting, safety and comfort are paramount.

If I may......your face is unique. If you have an issue fitting a facemask or just need added comfort because you're using it for extended periods, I'd go to your local safety supply house and try some on. They have full masks for either filtration or supplied air, and virtually every variety of coverage and fitment. It might take you some time and travel, but well worth it.
I like the supplied air because it can eliminates your body heat, just place the supplied source in the coolest area you can if you have that option.

The one you linked has the hardhat which would be very uncomfortable for me. Wore a hardhat for most of my career, would never put one on again.....hate em hate em hate em!!!

I have the Breathe Cool system with their mask. I bought the hood but it's way too big and can get in the way. I'm looking for something that sits on my head and isn't forced to seal on my face. I wear glasses to see close up (and will while painting), so I'm trying to find a happy medium.
