Did you use lots of POR-15 on the floorboard and frame ?

Oh Shit! I forgot to send you the side marker gaskets and dum dum, the stuff is in my truck with a stamped envelope but I haven't sealed it yet, IIRC I was going to see which set I have best fits the 396 side emblems I have, my apologies I'll check the fit either today or tomorrow and put the letter where I don't forget to mail it out Monday

Car looks great PS I should have tried doing my own work instead of the couple three years of dealing with body shops and $$$ only to end up with a 10' paint job, plus Ive chipped it putting shit back on it

I was looking for something else and found the other Dum Dum that I think is closer to what the factory used so I'll also add a piece of this and use whatever you prefer do you have the Malibu script that goes on the dash above the glove box?

That's because your 300 car isn't a malibu, it's a special car in it's own rite. I had no appreciation for the post sedan models until I fell upon one, and it was a factory L78 4speed car....'69 though. The '68 never offered the big block in the post sedan body style, but nevertheless, it's a car I wouldn't change up, or make it into something it's not. That's me, it's your car. The interior is all it's own, and stands out in a crowd of malibus, same with the window frames, and rear end treatment. You'll likely never park alongside another one like yours.

I was going to offer the OP an orig good cond Malibu dash script but it sounds like it would be the wrong thing to put on his car, I don't have the frame just the plastic insert but the frame is availible repop

I have the wrong gaskets for an emblem with engine size call outs, these say 68-69 but 69 just has a small side marker light and SS396 in a diff location, I really think thats what these are meant for but forgot about that, IIRC I put mine on in 2018, heres a cpl pics
