What’s this worth? 55

Getting my car smogged, I passed this car. Supposed to be Texas car. Has Tx plates. Supposedly a collector stores for many year. Has REAL patina. Paint is peeling like it’s spent a generation under the Texas sun. Crawling on the ground next to it, it looks surprising good underneath. I can’t see any real rot but didn’t look in trunk etc. it’s got an obvious spot of wavy filler on a door.

55 has been one of my dream cars but I have no intention of buying this. Just curious what it might be worth. I’ll reveal the asking price soon.

Love it! I'd change my lifestyle and run it as it appears. Might toss some appropriate bumper stickers and a working 8track in it and make routine trips into downtown Portland.

Here’s a video of the underside. It looks awfully good for a project. I’d hope for very little metal replacement.

Its price though. Essentially 18k

I don’t want a restored 55. I’d put a roll cage in it, a nasty big block with a huge hood scoop, primer paint and drive around town with a cowboy hat on pretending to be Bob Falfa.
