It appears to be rust free. It's in Norwood Ohio (Cincinnati) where it was made. :)
Only options are power steering. It's a manual trans, a big + !
Appears to be very original and non-modified.
Seems high at $48,000 to me ; is $40,000 fair or still too high ?

Cool car, not sure of the value, but it sure reminds me of the car that landed in the lake back in the early 70s and was discovered several years back. That saga captivated me and was a viral follow-along. IIRC, at least 3 kids drown inside the car and were never found until 40 years later.

Here's the young man standing proudly by his new to him camaro, just so tragic.

The op car needs that rear spoiler removed, and I'd agree with the TKX, but leave the little small block in place.

This 69 clone Z28 looks really good. But not for $65k. Maybe $45 ?

I like houndstooth and had it done in my 76 T/A but black vinyl outer with two tone grey houndstooth and the uph shop used early 70's Z/28 bucket seats, on a side note the Camaro seats were no where near as comfy as the T/A seats but houndstooth wouldn't have looked right on the TA seats, and it had black interior

I also think the aura of the 69 Z/28 and high winding DZ302 has everyone on the planet wanting a 69 Camaro so UP goes the price, in 76 I use to ride in a good friends 69 Baldwin Motion Z and what a hell of a carnival ride that always was

I "kind of" agree but the 69 Camaro is considered by many to be the best looking musclecar ever by any manufacturer.
Maple Motors got one in last week and it was bought before the dealer put it on the lot.

67-68 quarters are narrower at the rear, so the spoiler is a couple inches narrower. That's why you see about an inch of the top of each quarter beyond the spoiler on this car.

Really early 69s did have the 68 spoiler, though.
I had a 67 when I was in my teens for a short time but it was a base model no spoiler, I had always thought 67-69 were the same learn something new every day 👍👍🙂

In my circle we all thumbed our noses at the 69 Camaro and firebird, thinking they ruined the look by fattening the body. The tire footprint remained the same if you chose the same aftermarket wheels. They called it the "hugger" appearance. Still like the '67 and it's headlight layout and vent windows the best of the three.....and the '67 firebird is pretty sweet looking too.
