A thank you note from the engineer of Head East :

Guys thanks for covering Never Been Any Reason. I am Bill, the FoH engineer for Head East. I have had the job for the last 12 years and it looks like at least for two more before we hang it up. I have listened to many covers of this song on YouTube over the years and hands down this is the best I have heard so far. Special shout out to the drummer for having the correct tempo and the bassist for getting the groove right. I know Greg would be happy with bass groove. Great job by all. Just so you know we are still using the original 1968 Moog for the into and solos. It is hard to find the original parts to keep it running, but we do what we can. In 2025 the band did 30 shows in 7 states and played for between 1,200 - 7,000 per show. Thanks again. Bill

Wow! I really liked Head East back in the day and kind of wondered what happened to them, cool some stuff is coming back around 👍🙂
 
Dan Hartman is the singer of the hit "I Can Dream About You."
He tried to sell the song to Darryl Hall (Hall & Oates) but Darryl convinced him to sing it himself.
Hartman has a great voice ; here he redoes the song with the Lexington Lab Band


And since they had him in the studio, glad they had him sing my favorite John Waite (of The Babys) song

A "down under" cover band from Australia. Sound great , they just need a better looking lead singer LOL

A lot of these guys can barely speak english :)
They are from Eastern Europe and travel across America. They have a big following doing mostly "Chicago" stuff

 
Wow. It’s hard enough to sing these songs, much less doing so without an accent, in a language you don’t speak.

If you ever see the bluray concert "BeeGees-One Night Only" ; it is great.
It is high quality and the last time the 3 were alive together. I think Maurice died 3 years later.
And they covered every song they ever did ; even the ones Barry wrote for other people.
 
Not a cover band , but Youtube has put all of the Doobie Brothers concerts online.
The "Live at Wolftrap" is the best , recorded in high def. And they are at their best.
This is my favorite Tom Johnston song : Another Park , Another Sunday

This would have been a big hit but radio dj's boycotted the song because of the line :
"My car is empty and the radio just seems to bring me down"
