Great cover bands

I don’t know this guy (Kurt Deimer) but it’s a good version of Silent Lucidity with a message about suicide. But is it really a cover if it features Geoff Tate? 🤔

Tate still sounds really good. Wish Queensryche could get their shit together and tour with most original members. Wiki says guitarist Chris Degarmo is a professional pilot now so maybe his touring days are done.

I'd like to see Tesla but currently they are touring with Motley Crue (n)
Lexington Lab Band just kills Zepplin's "Over the Hills and Far Away"
My favorite line : "I live for my dream and a pocketful of gold" LOL

Tesla is going to open for a band that should've hung it up a while ago and I really hope people Walk Out after Tesla plays, I liked Motley in the 80-90's but what they did to Mick Mars, who actually made them famous, is a real shame, PS Mars was in LA Gunns with Tracy Gunns and they were pretty good

Lexington Lab Band covers Sailing, starring a high school orchestra and Christopher Cross’ former drummer. Fantastic.

Just a trivia note : noboby gives Christopher Cross a thought when talking about great guitarists

Covering 10 CC’s “I’m Not In Love”.
This cover band always does a great job.

Man, music back then (up to early 90s) just destroys almost anything made in the last 25 years. I think you can cherry pick some recent songs that people will still be listening to in 30+ years but you can pick any year of the 70s-early 90s and 85% of the top 20 you’d want to listen to eagerly.

Funny thing with me, I grew up with the 60s and 70s pop stuff but it quickly gave way to '70s hard rock, zeppelin, ac/dc, kiss, aerosmith etc. It just wasn't cool, or cutting by the time I reached 10 or 11. Now, I reach for this stuff, and the "b" sides of popular bands, or the musicians within those popular bands before they hit the scene.

I've always liked "Bread" and "Led Zepplin"
And I used to scoff at "The Stylistics" but now love several of their songs.
It's great that there is a type of music to fit whatever mood you're in.
Love it all - except RAP, which isn't music :ROFLMAO:
Some songs like Blondie's Rhapsody are called rap , but they aren't IMHO

One of the better cover songs I’ve heard. He’s got a killer voice. He must bit a little bit of a big deal because she’s actress Kristen Bell (from TV show Veronica Mars). She does the Dolly part really well

Isn't she also the voice of a Disney caracter that sings too?

Written by Barry Gibb. He wrote lots of hits for other people.
Both of those singers are awesome.
