Ford now, everyone else to follow!

In their latest act of either corporate suicide or insane arrogance Ford has taken the lead in forcing their customers to "Be Assimilated" into the global big brother insanity.
Of course "Climate" is an excuse, but sucking up to the self anointed masters of humanity seems more honest.

The only glimmer of hope is that the "Seat belt interlock" got repealed once members of congress found that they were not exempt.
Hopefully the same happens here.
Fortunately this crap is not likely to affect me directly.
I have enough pre-Orwell cars to last my lifetime.
I may have to start gathering some spare parts though.

I’ve been gathering spare parts for all my pre computer vehicles for over a year. Good plan sir.

There is a cure for that. A $20 "seat belt extender".
Plug it in and it stops the car from chiming. It thinks the seat belt is plugged in all the time.
And it makes it easier to plug in your belt.
