Toe alignment tool for $40

As cheap as that is, is there anything special about it that you can’t do with two pieces of angle aluminum and tape measures?

I thought about making it myself until I saw Vevor had this for $37.
Why would you even try to make it when it's that cheap ??

A friend once told me he used an 8' long floresent light buld to align front/rear motorcycle wheels 🙄😆 I haven't tried that but I have used a very straight 2x4 stud 👍🙂 I could see the bulb thing funny when the bulb Popped lol

Does toe In/Out really change if the vehicles weight is on the hubs or in the air? PS I used string around the car at wheel center height

So how do you set toe in with the vehicle not sitting on the tires at ride height?
The rotors are parallel with the tires. Toe-in is set by measurements before and after the rotors.
They don't say how to do the math but I would say you add the rear and front measurements and average them.
Set the rear to 1/16 more and the front to 1/16 less than the average

The toe spec are for ride height toe changes when you go up or down unless you are setting it on a straight axle.

This is why I was making the attachments to fit on the wheel adapters for my kit.... the toe in / out must be at ride height with the front end settled. Anything else is wasting your time.
