He’s been keeping to himself for the last few years, but he is a Memphis legend. 333 year old native of planet Zambodia, owner of various nightclubs, perpetual candidate for mayor, eccentric as hell, but one of the friendliest people you’d ever meet.

Mongo’s Castle closed just about the time I moved here, but I’ve heard it was…. Something.

Sounds like a real character. They said he was 79 or 89 ; since he was on a ladder cutting a limb ; I'd guess 79 ! :)

My great uncle scaled a cherry tree and fell out at about that same age. Sent him to the ER and got everyone talking, most of us were just laughing and admiring.....the women were questioning his decision making skills. RIP Ray.

79 or 89 up on a ladder cutting a tree limb is a bit crazy, sounds like a real fun guy though
My father was cleaning out the gutters one day when he was 77. He fell off and busted 2 ribs. I said, why didn't you have your 58 year old son that was living with you do it?
He said he didn't want to bother him. POS was living there rent free. I told him, next time call me.
