Any idea where I can find

[rustbucket1]

i am trying to find a fuel vapor canister bracket for a '70 Chevelle. '71-'72 brackets are available on ebay but they are not correct for 1970. "71-'72 were mounted on the radiator support but '70 was mounted on the frame. These were only on cars sold in CA so this is a west coast problem. My car was originally sold in Sacramento. Any ideas or sources would be appreciated.

Good grief, there's one on ebay.

1970 GM Fuel Vapor Canister Bracket OEM #3972757

That's not even close to the right one. Compare that to the diagram. Ebay descriptions are not worth a hoot.

Thank you. I saw this a while ago but the links were old and they didn't seem be in business. Looks like the website has been updated so I will try them again.

Welcome! Hinshaw Chevelle in Elon, NC might be able to help you out, he has a stack of used parts. 336 586 0802

I know finding correct items is getting hard, If James Hinshaw does not have it I would suggest searching yards in AZ etc, also, does the bracket align with a big body car, BOP or other GM product?
