I know the feeling to well. I swore no more animal. I`m too old to go thru that again. The loss right now feels like one of my kids died..... I'm all screwed up inside. I've cried a dozen times already. We had her since she was a baby and she grew up with my kids. Lisa and the kids have been crying since yesterday. My son in Indiana had to leave work he was so tore up. Lisa was on a call with all the kids last night and they were sharing memories and pictures. Lisa counted last night and we have well over 1,000 pictures of her over her life. She was spoiled rotten.

But, leave it to my wife to get a kitten.![]()
We had a pact too. But, SHE broke it.When my wife and I got together 7 1/2 years ago, she had 3 dogs and I had 5 dogs and 4 cats. We have lost a combined 6 in the past 2 years. We too made a pact that we would get no more animals. 3 weeks later a 6 week old kitten wandered up (Lola, didn’t know if it was a boy or girl) and 3 months later a Jack Russell mixed with Che hua huaa showed up, Harleey. Obviously we still have both. Guess they didn’t know about our pact.
