Ron Pinkard

Ron Pinkard acting as Dr Morton gave a twist to the show, here is a young, black resident trying to enter a color blind world. No colleagues ever mentioned race but in his eyes there was racial divide. Dr Bracket worked to assist Morton's bedside mannerisms. The only times race was mentioned was when dealing with young blacks that were injuring each other, he would talk more ghetto to them trying to make them see the error of their ways.

We were a very color blind society in the 80's because of characters like his, we saw people for who they are, not skin pigmentation. In 2008 Obama took us backwards and we have yet to recover.
