You are right, but in our lifetimes look at what have witnessed. Computers, cell phones, satellites, AI and Chinesium.
The more they come out with, the less I’m prepared to live on. I can generate my own power for my house and shop, supply my own water. I don’t own a tv or a computer. Live out in the middle of nowhere and grow most of my own food, barter for eggs & honey. I need very little.

Me too. I hate this AI shit, but I'm heavily invested in it.
You can see how AI will be used against us. Flock cameras, data centers ; all designed to watch us 24/7.
If anything is constant , it's change.

Well, they can change all they want. I’m stuck being old fashioned. When they come down my dirt road, then I’ll start to worry. Ain’t many people come down here as it’s a dead end. Plus there’s barb wire between me and them.

They want to sell us stuff and be prosperous.
We live in a world where everyone has nukes. It's just stupid to go into debtor's prison supporting a huge military.

I didn't say to trust them. I said they don't want to fight a war like we pretend they do.
The robot factory assembly line for cars scares the hell out of our car companies.
They didn't steal that or the metallurgy in those car frames.
And we are ahead in semiconductor chips only because ASML (Dutch Company) helps us. They won't help China.
China is developing their own replacement for ASML's tech (UV light lithography) ; It may take some time.
