Gave the smoker a go for supper.

If it swims in the sea, it ain't for me. No seafood in my house..... period. Lisa does not like seafood either.... the closest she comes to seafood is a can of albacore tuna in water, and I don't even eat that, but Beef and Pork are the main staple in my house (Lisa likes chicken, but I do not).

My wife likes all kinds of seafood, I like oysters and fried fish but like you, can’t stand the smell in the house. Restaurant only and 99% of the time only at the dockside restaurants at the beach, where I know it’s fresh.

You need to get yourself some cast iron cookware. Thats all we use, been told for years I can’t use cast iron on a flattop glass stove. 17 years later same stove and only cast iron.
I bought an induction cooktop for $100 and use a big cast iron skillet on it.
Cook steaks in olive oil almost every night

I buy the $20 lb filets from Costco and eat ~ 8 oz with a sweet or gold potato. Yum

Oh, I have cast iron pans and a couple dutch ovens. My wife would kill me if I used the pan but, the dutch oven is OK??
I wont try to figure that out. :ROFLMAO:

That salmon fettucini dish just needs one thing, a bit of fresh spinich, maybe some red peppers. Just bought a blackstone, been using it far more than the kitchen stove. These types of dishes make it easy, fun and so easy to clean up afterwards.

I made that for my grandson. He doesn't like spinach but, he likes broccoli.
When I make for myself, sometimes I`ll put spinach but, not peppers. I dont like them cooked.
