I have a stock numbers matching SS Chevelle with 14" rims. I want to put front discs on using OE 4 piston parts. Will my 14 wheels work?

My 71 came from the factory with disc brakes and 14" wheels. No issues. That being said, mine are only single piston. If you are talking about a 68, I would imagine that it will work using all factory parts. Those came from the factory with 14" wheels also.

67 and 68 used 4 piston calipers and the wheels were specific to discs. After 68 the SS had mandatory discs.....single piston. If you've got a pre-69 and factory wheels, they won't fit. The disc option used rally wheels, and to confuse matters, they also used rally wheels on drum brake cars in 67 and 68, but they had different rim offsets. Why they didn't just use the disc brake rallys for all, I have no idea.
