My email to Inline Tube :

The 396-375 hp gas line doesn't come close to being right. Looks like it's for another vehicle.
The 325 hp line is good.
Have you checked this part ? It comes up from the fuel pump and turns toward the driver side away from the carb.
I need an RMA for it

Hello,

We have received your support request and will respond as quickly as possible. Most responses are in less than one business day, but please do allow additional time for inquiries made on weekends or holidays.

I think you sent this gas line :

This line is for a 350 hp Holley carb, not the solid-lifter 375 hp dual feed Holley carb. This should be corrected. The 375 hp has 3 lines and a 3 way brass splitter.
I just need the single line from pump up to the brass splitter.

3 days later, no response

Have you figured out that the single line labeled "375 hp" should be changed to "350 hp" ?
I need to return this incorrect gas line

Can you send in a picture of the line you received from us that you are saying is the incorrect line?
--------------
Yes, but it looks just like the pic on your website. The line is not for a 375 hp engine. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
There were 3 different 396 engines in 66-67. A 325 hp, 350 hp and 375 hp. The 350 hp was a single line Holley and 375 was a dual-line Holley.
You have the 350 hp line (which I bought) labeled as a 375 hp line. So I bought the single line which won't fit my 375 hp dual-line carb.
Am I confusing you ? LOL

I still would need a picture of the line you received.

No problem. attached below

That is the factory original carb in the picture correct?
------------
That's a dual-line Holley like the one on a 375 hp 396.
This is a pic of a single-inlet 350 hp Holley that your gas line is meant to fit

The 375 carbs have two inlets on the left (passenger) side while the single inlet Holley is at the front right.

I finally found a pic of the line you sent me. This is a single inlet Holley on a 67 Chevelle 396 - 350 hp.

If I had the original line, why the hell would I need yours?

They also asked me if my 850 holley was the correct original carburetor.
The pic showed a brand new aluminum double pumper.
This person knows nothing about old cars

They suck. It doesn't need to be a federal case, just accept the return and make the customer happy. The only reason for them to pursue this is either to gain the correct information, which they should have anyway, or to prolong the dialog until you just give up. They suck. I still use them, out of necessity, but I thoroughly vet their stuff. They sent the wrong rear brake lines for my K20, there were 2 different brake sizes, which had 2 specific brake cylinders with 2 differently sized inlet sizes. They sent the wrong one, even though I specificied my app. After the pic sending, the dialog, and the arguments, they sent me the wrong lines AGAIN, and refused to right the wrong. Their response was I needed to cut my original lines and change out the fitting. They SUCK!

I had to laugh because these "support" people are so young and clueless.
OPGI seems to have more knowledgeable people and their website does appear to have the line I need but it's back-ordered and much more $$$.
I may have to order it from them.

Ebay had the 3 lines without the brass block for $40.
It looks correct ; doesn't have all the crazy bends.
I ordered it

That appears to be the L88 line kit.
67-68 Camaro 396-375 hp line. But the same line applies to any short water pump BBC.
I don't see why it would change with a long water pump in 69 ? The easiest path to the carb didn't change when they swapped water pumps

Long water pump put the alternator on the passenger side, different obstacles including the heater hose bibs position and alternator bracket. Those things forced the routing between the water pump standoffs ports. The earlier short wp had no room to do this, and no obstacles on the pass side and ran it down the outside of the pump.

True, but my engine has no obstacles on the pass side to stop the line from reaching the carb.
It might have unnecessary bends but it should work.
The line they sent goes toward the driver side to connect to the carb. Like a single-line Holley with inlet on driver side.
It was $40 down the tube. I've lost hundreds of thousands in the stock market so I have to leave this crap alone.
It's not worth the aggravation dealing with stupid people.

After all that cussing and fighting and I gave up, they sent the 3 piece gas line for a 375 hp model.

What makes ZERO sense is you can't find these gas lines on their website.
But if you do a Google search, they pop up ? WTF ?
