1. Rick Springfield killed a man during the Vietnam war
2. Rick Springfield is old enough to have been an adult during the Vietnam war
3. Rick Springfield still looks like this:

Good for him man. He’s 77 years old.

4. Perhaps the most shocking of all…. He’s Australian.

I often think that many of these singers have already embalmed themselves with all the alcohol they've drank and drugs they've taken in excess of the life they have led..... they're already dead, they just don't know it.

Springfield is a normal guy who never got into drugs :)

Check out the cover band doing "Jesse's Girl" in the cover band thread

Springfield let MH know all about his eating and workout routines in the latest episode of Gym & Fridge, and off the bat let everyone know that his wife, Barbara Porter, is vital to how he eats. Their fridge is filled with all different kinds of milks and vegetables, and she prepares all different kinds of meals for dinner. Rick's favorite? Tacos that are "friggin' mind blowing."

His typical day of eating is simple enough. He starts the day with a breakfast of scrambled eggs or egg whites, before moving on to a protein shake that he credits his wife with making expertly. The rest of the day is filled with drinking lots of tea and water, and a turkey sandwich made by, that's right, Barbara.

"I play the guitar, she cooks the food," Springfield says with a grin. "Fair division of labor. She's great at that, and I'm moderately proficient at the guitar thing, so it's working out."
