Color?

When I bought my replacement front & rear springs from NPD they came black also when I bought a Proforged steering rebuild kit it all came black powder coated but everything just blends together and IMO it does look better broken up a little

Seems like a lot of new parts either come black powder or painted. I did powder my rear in black and the front is cast gray. When I held them together it looked nice. Right now I’m in the process of cleaning up the spindles so I can get them in. Hoping this wee. It will be my first spring install but I have experienced help with it. Thanks for your input.

I went to an auto parts store and used a loaner spring compressor but be Very careful some of those loaner tools aren't in the best condition and even with a new tool it's still can be dangerous, in the 80's I pulled a 350 out of my 73 Elky and was installing a 70 LS5 built to 467 500+ hp but while I had the engine bay empty I rebuilt the A arms with all new bushings and BJ's and replaced the springs for BB springs, I'm guessing you're replacing the bushings etc. ?

Yes on the new bushings. Thanks for the warning on the spring tool. I have a few other options with multiple auto stores. I will look for the best. My uncle also has one. Problem is he is about a half hour away and only available weekends.
