69 refresh

That silver '69 is a different car than the one I started a "69 refresh" thread on this site. The silver car is a ultra rare L78 post sedan, with documentation. There were approx. 1400 SS396 post sedans and it's anyone's guess how many of those were L78s. Then there's the documentation, which I've seen maybe 3 with either the original drivetrain or documentation to prove the claim. This car deserved the best of the best, and it received it. The other '69 is a L34 convertible, which I restored in '94-'97 and just recently did a refresh since it deserved and kinda needed it. That car also has documentation, and the original motor. The convertible was a body on frame restoration, but I did strip and repaint the frame and under body while on jackstands.....a royal pain in the ass, but I had no provisions at the time to take the body off. Would have been much easier to do so.

My bad. Is there pictures of this car in this post? I think I saw the other thread. But it said 2 door post video so I wasn’t sure. I like the silver. Is that original Cortez? I’d like to see more pictures of that to if you have time and want to. Heard silver is one of those hard ones to paint.
