My 68 has repop full quarters but Im thinking the 2nd shop that unscrewed where the 1st shop had them set might have screwed up? So anyway of making this trim fit/work? IIRC trim came from a 71-72 Skylark

That's not right, should be any gaps and you shouldn't have to bend anything at all. Too bad you didn't have any original molding trim to compare it against.

You can't change the angle on the flat, but once you "roll" the legs up or down, you'll notice the effective angle does change. Inspect the clipped edge of the molding making sure it's not distorted at the previous clip locations, then start at the crotch and work outward on each leg. It may pop up and out at the starting clips, but keep snapping the adjacent clips and come back to the center last....if that makes sense. It's common for guys to tweak the moldings when removing them. Check this by laying them on each other, opposite, and examine the profile gaps, this will tell you if one of them is bent crazy. If your window fit with typical gaps, I doubt you'll have any problems.

These are originals but from a 71-72 Buick Skylark, the window gaps are fairly big I think

The glass installer that did this shops owners 67 Camaro supplied the windshield and installed the rear glass I supplied, I installed the front trim WO any problems but it was all factory channels & roof

Front fenders, doors, full quarters and SS hood are after market, and trunk floor is USA made but not the rest

After calling different resto parts sellers with no luck I looked on Belden Speed website and RustRepair.com and seen pics of the difference in the repair patch channels and they look diff. so I think I have the wrong trim, CL Skylark parts, the trunk lid fit perfect though 😁
