Found a picture of my good friends Chevelle at the track from years ago

This Chevelle has been in his family since 1971. It runs 12.0@110mph, still has the old canted Torker intake and Crane fireball cam in it. The short block is factory numbers match but has 11.1 pistons and closed chambered heads. I did find him a set of the right heads with date codes once but he waited too long on it and the guy sold them to someone else. The car was painted in '78 and he does like to take it out as some people have picked on the paint at times, he gets pretty touchy about that. Back in 04 I raced his 2000 Camaro SS and we ran against each other for the 1st. time. I got him with my street car by only a hundredths and after the race he said "you bastard" I laughed so hard I had a headache. Later that year I wanted a rematch but seeing I had like 3 tenths on him after a little tuning he declined to race. He's a pretty good guy and I consider him one of my best friends and would do anything to help him, except let him beat me in a race. That's getting personal LOL.
