RV Repairs

Working on the RV. Had a torn slide topper. Repair shops wanted $700 to $1000 to replace. I bought a replacement canvas from the awning manufacturer, took the whole awning to the basement where I had room, unrolled the old, installed the new. I got some help off of the chair, we lifted it to the top of the slide, slid it in the channel, attached, adjusted tension and done.

Also replaced the trim plastic trim that covers screws, I have a roll of the trim, had to get the one at the top of the slide while the topper was off. Also resealed around some trim.

So far 15-16 hours in waxing the RV. I have to compound it 3 times and after a hand buff, I throw wax on it. I have it about 2/3 done. We have had it since 2016 and this is the first compound and polish.

Just picked up the new Splendide washer / dryer combo, vent kit, and the locking legs to secure it from moving. The ducted mini split with 21.5 seer rating I ordered last week is coming on Tuesday, we ordered the laminate last Tuesday so I could build custom kitchen countertops (Lisa wanted a 9" deep stainless steel sink with faucet), and we are deleting the 3 burner gas stove to go with induction cooktop, so I'm building a custom countertop for it. We ordered this sink (and got it already), and the faucet she loves (same faucet in the last 3 houses and she wants it in the coach).

I'll be ordering the 12v fridge this week, but it'll only be a 10 cf model because the rest are too big to fit through the door and would stick out too much for my liking.
