Maybe it's just me, but I see that as a band aid fix much like throwing more fuel on the fire (so to speak).

Everything this administration is doing is completely opposite of what common sense dictates.
 
Well it's true where I live now and my prediction came true (wish it had not) $4.09 a gal. today and one station close to me is $4.59 "YIKES" looking more and more like no racing this year.
 
Looks like it hit 4.09 here at a few stations, they'll all be 4.09 by the end of the day. There's one station in town that controls the prices.
 
Filling my truck is almost $200.
It is just a one-ton Chevy.
I've gone to extreme efforts to improve mileage but at $4.70 Gal. no work truck is economical.
 
You know all the things that Joe did to wrestle gas prices into submission? Why’d he stop doing them?

To be fair this is one of the gas stations in my area that is most proud of their gas but it surprised me that we’re knocking on the door of $7 again.
