Any way to reseal a new back glass that pulled away from seal WO removing the glass? I've tried sitting the car in the Florida sun and pressing down in the lifted spots but it comes back up, new NPD glass was installed by a mobile glass installer when it was at the body shop, their glass guy but I wasn't impressed by him and his father at all so Id rather not use them again but they did the windshield that they supplied good but they couldn't get the back glass so I drove to NPD in Ocala and I dont think its a glass problem, this was installed around 2016 or 17

If you pry on the glass you risk cracking it. Resealing is not that hard, just removing all of the old sealer is a pain. Just takes 2 people to install, one in the car and one outside of the car or suction cups.

You're going to have to pull the glass back out to reseal it right. Jon's right that if you tweak it the wrong way, it'll explode into pieces.

A good glass guy can cut it out, clean it, and reseal it pretty easily. That's what I'd recommend.

Well Im not having any luck with finding someone to R&R this 2017 or 18 NPD back glass, I havent tried the orig installer since he didnt get it sealed the first time but did try this Permatex glass sealer and I'll see what happens, no plans on being in rain but living in Fl has its surprise rain storms

That's exactly what I would do. Clear silicone should do the trick. I think that type will "flow" so be sure to read the directions !

I did read the instructions first 😂 that use to be "read after all else fails" lol, this stuff is the thinnest silicone I've ever used and does flow really well but I had to push it in with a plastic putty knife to help it go in the right direction, inst says it might need a 2nd application but sets in 1 hr and cures in 24 so I'll check it tomorrow after work and if it ran out/down I'll put a 2nd coat, if not any tips on putting the molding on the rear glass? I've never done it except for my windshield and scratched the paint, also bumped the car Fri evening trying to get the Efans sorted out and scratched the drvs front fender, Im starting to get that feeling "Well at least Im the person that scratched it" 😆 went through that crap with really nice paint jobs on bikes years ago...I give up lol

I scrape the glass with a razor blade and make sure it's super clean, wipe with alcohol before applying either butyl or rtv.
