Since this is a member owned site what is the general consensus of OldChevelles.com having their own YouTube channel?

I have no idea how it would work but, I think it might be pretty cool.
What types of videos? Just car? Or anything?
My son made a short video of me working.
And I`ve taken videos of different cars from the hot rod guy across the street from me.

I would think car related but if it is something involving building, shop, other machinery I don't see why it wouldn't be ok.

Imo,

A chevelle related youtube channel would be really cool, especially to get the site out there.

I would keep it strictly chevelle related, cars, upgrades, mods, part numbers, suppliers etc.
For example, Derek and 69malibu already have good stories in the 68-69 section, turning them into videos as they progress would be next level.
No politics, no family reunions, no house fire or moms got cancer stories.
Maybe we could create another channel for that kind of stuff, but it would get the "oldchevelles" brand out there.

Btw. T-shirts, stickers, patches, and other oldchevelles merchandise would be a good thing to start designing.
Anyone here that can draw?

It could be some other platform. I dislike that YouTube makes money from work we do.
True, I won't use tiktok. But we could make money too if it gets downloaded.

I admit I watch YouTube, but it's not a free speech platform, so overall I don't think we should give them any of our business!!! There are other platforms, or there should be. I can wait.

I watch a lot of You Tube. Just watched a DieselTechRon on Powerstrokes. Ron left us a couple of years ago RIP but his knowledge lives on.

I agree about the free speech platform but if videos can be created to help the enthusiast I am all for it.

Rumble is good, a little hard to search.

With a Roku we watch shows on YouTube and Rumble as well as other channels. Using Google Chrome ( I only use Chrome for YouTubes) you can cast You Tubes to a Smart TV, we have Roku TVs. We do not watch network TV anymore.
