So far I’m putting my trust in Gibbs lubricant and my garage. So far everything left bare I’m using Gibbs. I like it. Not sure how long until I retreat. I think I’ll do it every couple months. Says you can paint over also.

Thanks for the documentation of the process. My column is pretty smooth (doesn’t feel worn) so I’m not yet brave enough to disassemble it
