TKX Shifter for 64-67 console cars coming soon !

Finally ! An affordable shifter to fit the stock console on 64 to 67 Chevelles with the new TKX Tremec 5 speed !

They are giving an initial $305 price which is acceptable. New parts had to be machined to get the shifter forward and 2" toward the left side.

I didn't see a release date, but they say it's close to being finished.

 
Looking at the picture, I don't understand why it took them so long or difficult. Looks like most anyone could make or weld one and bolt it up. If really inclined, a local shop could CNC one.

The top plate is all new and I think below the plate (out-of-sight) is some more linkage.
The price is good because there are two more companies making their version and $305 is the best price yet
 
The shifter is now available. I just placed my order for one.
It's pricey ($330) but if you want to keep your factory console, it's worth the cost.
It will be months before I can give install updates but this video takes care of that !
