Deleted my post about education because it wasn't funny and I'm not going to derail my own humor thread.
 
Role was reversed for me.... Dad held the flashlight because he didn't know anything about cars and I did the work.

Hard to tell your Dad he's doing a crappy job holding the flashlight when he's just happy your spending time with him and looking to fix his car.
 
My father had no patience and I got chewed out more than once over the flashlight. I NEVER asked my kids to hold a flashlight. Besides, where the light and hand needed to be would be right where I needed to see.
