What have you done to your old vehicles to bring them into the 21st century?

What modern upgrades have you done? I’m in the process of a build and want to upgrade as I go instead of later.
Stereo upgrades? Bluetooth? USB ports? Clock, gauge upgrades? Hydraulic brakes assist?

My plans are simple for now. Good sound deadener, probably upgrade stock location plus kick panel speakers, hidden antenna, USB charging ports. Love to figure out a tasteful way to put in cup holders but haven’t found a period correct solution yet.
Haven’t decided about fuel injection yet.

On my Gold 72 I installed an Ausley's Retro Radio with bluetooth. Other than that nothing.

My Bronze 72, not a single thing.

383" LS1 stroker / T56 with factory GM EFI/computer
434hp / 449 ft lbs at the wheels
19mpg at 80mph with the AC on
No stereo... just bring a bluetooth speaker with me on longer trips.
C5 Corvette front brakes, LS1 Camaro rear brakes, manual Master cylinder
18 x 10.5" wheels with 295/35s on all 4 corners.

Regularly beat newer Corvettes at autocross. :)

Going to upgrade soon to 416" LS3 stroker, hoping to be around 575rwhp.

Radial tires, only because nothing's available below $300 a tire, shocks and modern air and fluids.

6.0 LS, 4L60, 18" wheels, cruise, air conditioning, digital gauges, quick ratio box, sway bars, 4WDB, adjustable rate shocks, modern tunes, LED lighting.

I recently did an MSD Atomic 2 EFI and an electric fan. I hate to say this but I am a sucker for fuel injection one reason being my ignorance to carbs ( I was born in 1980 ). I will say it was not bad to install and so far so good! If anyone has any questions feel free to message me! Forgive the loose wires, it was a "during" install photo...

I never got good at carb tuning. I also had an issue where if I didn’t run the car for a little while it seemed to take cranking forever to get it to start as though there was no fuel in the bowls (Carter AFB). Gotta get that figured out.
I could definitely seeing going to fuel injection for drivability. One of my objections has been the gas tank and return line need. But perhaps those aren’t the obstacles that they used to be.

Good looking engine/bay by the way. I like those valve covers.

Thanks! Honestly the reason I got those was they are made in the USA. I love the look of other ones but I try when I can to buy US and leave the China crap alone. Crazy thing is the prices were about the same!

To the point of the tank and lines, yep for sure I hear ya it was a chore. I ran new AN lines from front to back. I needed a new fuel tank anyway so I just opted to go with the new tank that had the new pump and return. I get bored so I didn't mind doing the work the hard part is letting my wallet catch up to my impatience after a job like this lol!

Radial tires, dynamat type sound deadening, Pertronix ignition, and the correct conversion of the a/c to R134A. I like upgrades that cannot be seen, preserving the original appearance.

My one experience with modern fuel injection only confirms my belief that nothing is better than a well sorted Quadrajet...

I like my cars to be stock but radial tires are a must. Fortunately my cars had factory disc/drums so no upgrade needed. I will tell you ABS is a nice thing, more than once have I locked up the wheels on my cars, gotta adjust driving the Chevelles. No ABS..
