engine hoist

This wouldn't be a bad idea, just have to check the garage height...

My next buy. I like it because, it has a height adjustment.
I had one that didn't have a height adjustment and I had to get rid of it because, it wouldn't fit in my new shop when I moved.:(

I would really like a Gantry. 7K-10K hoist are crazy ! You could build that for very little price. I don't see anything on there that's extraordinary

Can't beat the Harbor Freight cherry picker. I did replace the straight wheels with rotating ones to make it easier to maneuver.

I picked up a Harbor Freight folding crane and an extra engine stand on FB Marketplace a few months ago for $120 for both. I does the job for my needs.

Sometimes I wished my front wheels swiveled.
Until you go to put an engine in the car that then you wished you didn't. I did swap one of my hoists over to the swivel wheels in the front and for moving stuff in the garage it works great, but put an engine on the front and it get un-controllable real quick. I bought a used HF look alike from a nice couple for $50 last winter as being is lower main height allows me to get an engine in the back of my Suburban easier.
