Did you guys see that nice '66 Chevelle SS 396 on BaT recently? Auction just ended yesterday or the day before. Sold for $72,000. I believe it was well sold for that price but it did check most of the boxes...really looked sweet! Marina Blue with Black interior, 4-speed. Sweet!

That's badass! Love the Cragars on it too. For $72,000 though, I would demand a 66 steering wheel, even though I do like the 67 wheel too, and even had one on my 66 for a while.

Here's my 327 5 speed malibu.....less of a car starting out, but it's miles ahead of that one now....if you like a screaming sbc.

For top dollar, give me a restified 66-67. OD trans, preferably a TKX. Vintage air, disc brakes with moser or S60, bucket seats/console and if it's a vert even better.

I agree....and I prefer the '67 steering wheel like the one I had on my '67. I already bought another one for installing on my next '67 when I ever find one!
