Real? Fake?

It kinda looks real to me. I don't know anything about 69 dashes, but one thing that definitely stands out when looking at the "RPM/100" lettering, is that the tach is cocked a couple degrees.

I want to think there were different gauges for a small block and big block. I converted an idiot light 69 to the gauges ( I still have the idiot light unit if anyone is interested) a while back.
 
If you look at "RPM/100", you can also see a difference between the one in the ebay ad and the new one.
 
I'd have to compare... I have a really nice original 5500 redline tach on a shelf at home. Haven't looked at it in years, but it's a known original.
 
The reason I posted it, I think someone put an aftermarket tach in an original dash carrier.

If you think about it, he gets $750 for parts not worth $750. A repop tach is only about $260.
