Just curious. In my mustang it is under the passenger seat. I was wondering if in the el camino I could mount it inside like up behind the glovebox or something on the inside of the firewall? Thanks!

IMO the only thing under a seat should be old gum wrappers and french fries.

I would try to get it behind the glove box, but I have never built an LS car.

Vice Grip Garage has built an LS dually, he mentioned how expensive it was to do, definitely not a budget build.

Yea the mustang that actually came with a bracket and that’s where they said to mount it, perfect fit but I’m with you on that location. I was thinking behind the glovebox.

Mine is on the passenger side of the trans tunnel, with a carpet-covered box over it.
Vintage Air took up all the space under the dash.

Good point! Cannot afford the AC right now but maybe some forward thinking there!
