Got this new center ac vent from a member at ocs, he made it on a 3D printer since he also has a 68 Chevelle that he added VA and was in need of a new center vent that no one repops, $250 but very nice20220514_202308.jpg

Nice that someone is taking this on. I thought the center diffuser was available repop, just the housing wasn't??? I used to come across these plastic ducting pieces occasionally, and the '69 versions, and they'd go for pretty good money.

I believe the center is available as well as the 69 diffusers. The center isn't available that I've seen but I'm sure it will be soon.

I randomly looked for the center diffuser but didn't find any, the Vintage Air kit comes with the center housing but not the vent/diff, I have the VA kit in my cart on their website but $1,800 gives me the Puckers LOL :ROFLMAO: Oh and it's On Sale LMAO

I've heard that the '68 big car center vent is the same, the one in my Caprice sure looks like it. I bought a b body on ebay, when it gets here, I'll report. I don't have a '68 Chevelle right now, but I will in the future, so I get parts when I can. I've had three '68's, its my favorite year, next one will hopefully be an El Camino.

The '68 center vents are metal, be hard to break one. The outers are a hard plastic, and use the same round vent ball as a lot of other GM cars of the era. None of them are easy to find. A '69 left side will work in a pinch, but has a step to clear a rib on the dash bezel that '68's do not have. The right side appears to be the same. I added Vintage Air to a '68 many moons ago, and used '69 outer vents with no issue. Someone on the OCS sent me a template to cut the dash for them.
To address your question, I have no vents but hopefully the above info will help you in your search

I was inquiring about the center AC dash vent.
I don't want any, I wanted to see if anyone needed one fixed.
