Pinned an RN

Great stuff! She's on her way to great things and I'm sure you 2 as parents deserve a fine handshake. Love the photos.

Congrats to her! I know it ain't easy to get there, as my wife is an RN also. Lots of work, stress, and studies to get there!

Also, my suggestion to every single dude is to marry an RN. Really helps with the racecar budget. ;)

Single? They guys in Asheville must be blind or queer, she's a cutie! Lucky for her that she takes after her mom ;)
Its great to see you all so happy.

In defense of some of the guys (specifically a police officer and a firefighter) who wanted to court her, I insisted and told her she had to keep her head in the game without any distractions to meet her goals.

It is 100% obvious how proud you are of her and how proud you are of all of your children.

As parents it is our job until we die to support our children in any and every way we can to help them realize what they can be, even if they don't see it.

We take our responsibility very seriously and I do push our kids to be the best they can be, and sometimes they get angry at me (like Michelle has done a number of times), but when the end result elevates them, they understand why I push so hard.

With so many parents negligent on their duties, I question how some of those kids will ever succeed.

The answer to that question is that they will NOT succeed. And we as a society suffer for it.

Congrats on your daughters accomplishment . Nurses are great. When I had my stents put in they really kept their eyes on me, the Asian nurse was the absolute best of all. She was feisty, we go along great.

Congratulations to your daughter on her accomplishment. It’s an admirable profession.
And congratulations to you, her parents for a job well done as her parents.

Thanks, we won't take any credit for her hard work and determination, but we are very proud of her and her accomplishment.

Congrats to your family and especially to your daughter for her dedication and hard work. Life isn't easy.

We recognized just how liberal and yuppie Asheville was when we were there.
Yes! We were looking to move there. I made friends with a Newspaper editor as a way of checking it out. He said that the town was getting so woke, mostly from New Yorkers, that the kids who grew up there could no longer afford, nor did they want, to live in such a place.

Interestingly enough more than half of the people we met were from other places, so I can understand how the people who were born and raised there must feel.

Definitely not a place I'd move to (although my daughter was begging us to move there). Lisa told her that we'd never move there. Traffic was horrendous. Took 45 minutes to drive 4 miles with all the traffic and lights. There are so many apartment complexes I was shocked, and the cost for a newer apartment (as Michelle was telling us) is like $2,200 to $3,000 a month for a 3 bedroom with no basement or storage. She pays $1,600 a month plus utilities for a 3 bedroom and her complex was older and has a 1 year waiting list.
