Pinned an RN

Yes! We were looking to move there. I made friends with a Newspaper editor as a way of checking it out. He said that the town was getting so woke, mostly from New Yorkers, that the kids who grew up there could no longer afford, nor did they want, to live in such a place.
I was working there last year at Champion Paper in Canton, just 10 miles west of Asheville.
There are plenty of small towns around Asheville where the cost of living is reasonable.

Many local natives can't afford to live in Asheville, they move to surrounding counties. Property is still expensive there and gets cheaper depending on the steepness of the hill to get to the house/building site.
