No LH brake with RH turn signal. Need Help!

Everything works normal except when I have the RH turn signal on the LH brake light doesn't come on.

Brake lights ✅
Running lights ✅
RH turn ✅
LH turn ✅
LH turn W/brake ✅
RH turn W/brake - Nope.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I did swap my steering wheel and added a cruise stall so I had to loosen the turn signal cam. I'm not sure when my issue started though.

Any ideas? I'm stuck.

OEM or replacement cam switch?

OK. I had issues with a replacement switch, when installing the locking plate it would push the switch and cause the horn to blow when turning and turn signal lever not to engage. I would release the plate and it would work fine. Ended up returning switch and installing an original switch and the problem was resolved. Also check for loose wires at the connector. My right signal would not work unless I wiggled it, that is why I bought the NPD switch that I returned.

It sounds like you have a circuit back feeding somewhere, but my guess id the turn signal switch itself. Seen many weird failures over my lifetime with them. Get out you meter and start tracing that circuit. Also I have seen bulbs that have had a filament break and touch the other filament cause that very same problem you have. Sounds strange but I have seen it all over 30 years of electrical work.

You are correct, I replaced the switch (that's a whole different story) and everything works now.
