Independent Electrical Contractors Graduation

Our son Paul graduated tonight from a National Electrical Certified program and will be taking his electrical journeyman's state test to become a licensed electrician. We are very proud of him and his effort to get there. It took 4 long years of classwork and he has over 9,000+ hours OJT and works weekends for overtime.

Since he's your son, I bet he knows much more than the average beginner journeyman !

He's been promoted twice already (once to a Estimator, and now a Project Manager) and has won his company $7,100,000 in contracts already. He works in the field every day managing the company's projects and does electrical field work on the weekends.

Bausch & Lomb requested he personally work on the last shutdown (last weekend) because he's a go getter and works his ass off. His primary focus has been in the commercial and industrial side.

He's turning 25 this year and is managing 40 guys and most twice his age. We couldn't be more proud of him and he has a super bright future ahead of him.

He's well on his way at a very young age. Well accomplished. The trades are so underrated these days, and with any degree of self motivation and talent, you can make well into the 6 figures. The electrician's union is among the best paid and least taxing on your physicality, so a great choice.

He put his hard time in early on digging trenches by hand so he's no stranger to hard work, but now he does the more technical side of things. He's looking now to get his certification in motor and automation control.

I can't begin to tell anyone the pride I have in watching my kids surpass me and do so well at such a young age.

I have a pride in my kids that can't be squelched, and knowing they can take care of themselves helps Lisa and I to know we did a good job raising them.
