Fuel Tank Sending Unit

Can anyone recommend the best brand fuel tank sending unit? Non EFI car. The "new" one in the car is way off and I need to replace it. Not a fun job.

I remember having issues like that before, and if I remember correctly (it was more than 30 years ago), we added a resistor to get it "more" accurate.

Sorry, now I remember (old age crap), we tried a resistor (sending unit was having wild swings with the gauge) but it didn't work. I did replace the sending unit, but tested it before we installed it. We figured out there was like a dead spot on the old one so it would jerk the gauge when you took off driving and the gas was sloshing in the tank.
